Winter Canvassing

Winter Canvassing time again! In all, we worked at six different areas: Tuscaloosa, AL; Clarksville, TN; Columbus, MS; Conroe, TX; Jonesboro, AR; and Arkadelphia, AR.

According to the last count, this was our absolute highest canvassing program for books sold in OHC history. Praise the Lord!

Colporteuring

However, although we are excited about the number of books going out like leaves of autumn, we also can’t forget the personal experiences, such as this one that Christian Akinsanya had:

“I came to a house that had a gated walkway, with no way for me to reach the door. As I thought of what to do to canvass the people, I noticed that this gate had an intercom. I decided to press the button. A young man answered, and I proceeded to tell him what I was doing. He asked how much people normally give per book. Once I told him, he quickly replied that he could get a book. Eventually he told me to come in, but at the time I wondered how I could. Then I saw the gates slowly moving open and thus a way was opened for this home to receive the Great Controversy.

Rev 3:7 These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Whatever circumstance you may face God will open up the door if it is His will.”

May God continue leading us to the open doors of people’s hearts through the canvassing work.
